Honor the Children of Newtown, CT by donating a book to a local library!

What a wonderful suggestion! Donate books to a local library in honor of the children and teachers in CT. Spread the love of reading to the youth in your area!

Innocence Lost: Honoring the Children of Newtown, CT
In this blog post from Reading Rockets, Maria Salvadore shares a very special idea from a friend of hers who works in the children's publishing industry on how to honor the lives of the children lost: donating a book to a library. She writes, "The children lost were like children everywhere. Maybe children and adults, who want to do something, could find a book together that everyone might enjoy and give it to the library of their choice in memory of a special child."

Let's face it. I am really BAD at updating my blogs. I have three listed on Blogger, but one is for the Mac Lab at my school that has been turned into an editing lab for the media department. I still work in it, but not enough to maintain a blog. I do post to the photo blog somewhat frequently. And then there is this one.

The purpose of this blog was to complie a list of resources for teachers. I created it before a Professional Development I was presenting. I still add to the resources from time to time. However, to just pop on over and ramble, is not my favorite thing to do.

However, please feel free to message me or post below if you have a site that I should list as a resource. Please look around. I hope you find something that is useful to you!

Until next time....
